A new incinerator has also been installed and operated to dispose of medical waste in the university hospital, with an estimated cost of 7 million pounds.  And that the opening of the intensive care unit is a new addition to the university hospital’s patients service, which includes 75 intensive care units, and with the opening of this unit, the total intensive care unit in the university hospital reaches 85 care and intensive care units to serve the people of Aswan Governorate and the neighboring governorates.
