The first Product Design training program in Aswan Governorate and Upper Egypt is now open. This program aims to develop participants’ digital design and manufacturing skills, empowering them to transform their creative ideas into tangible, marketable products. The training covers a range of key topics, including: How to develop an idea and transform it into a real product. Understanding the fundamentals and principles of product design. Applying Design Thinking methodology to develop ideas. Learning product design and packaging design techniques. Creating complex mechanical designs using CAD software. Preparing and formatting design files for manufacturing. The training is scheduled to begin on March 8, 2026, and will be delivered online for 12 sessions, with 4 hours of instruction per day. The final 4 sessions will include practical application at Aswan University – Sahari Campus, focusing on prototyping and transforming designs into real-world products. The Department of Postgraduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Engineering, Aswan University, announces the opening of registration for the PhD program for the 2024/2025 academic year, from September 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025. Required Documents for Postgraduate Doctoral Applications: 1-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – for students at private universities and engineering institutes (submitting an equivalency certificate accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities). 2-Master’s degree in Engineering. 3-A statement of the student’s grades over the five years of study. 4-Birth certificate or an official extract thereof. 5-A copy of the national ID or family card (the original is subject to review). 6-Four recent 4×6 photographs. 7-Approval from the employer for enrollment. 8-Conscription status (military service, final exemption, postponement for a period sufficient for the student to complete the preliminary studies). 9-For conscripts, one of the following documents must be submitted: 10-Approval from the Organization and Administration Authority of the Armed Forces. 11-Approval from the Officers’ Affairs Department (if the applicant is an officer in the Armed Forces). 12-Approval from the Security Directorate if the applicant is a police officer, police sergeant, or a civilian employee of the Ministry of Interior. 13-Tuition fees:3,510 EGP per year. Payment by Visa card. 14-Applications are due in September and March of each year. 15-Application form ( 50 EGP) must be obtained from the Graduate Studies Office. 16-A file folder for storing documents.

A statement of the student’s grades over the five years of study. 3. Birth certificate. 4. A copy of the national ID card (the original must be reviewed). 5. Four recent photographs (4 x 6 size). 6. Approval from the employer for postgraduate enrollment, with two days off per week to pursue studies. 7- Conscription status (military service, final exemption, postponement for a period sufficient for the student to complete preparatory studies). 8- For conscripts, one of the following documents must be submitted: * Approval from the Armed Forces Organization and Administration Authority (if the applicant is a conscript). * Approval from Officers’ Affairs (if the applicant is an officer in the Armed Forces). * Approval from the Security Directorate (if the applicant is a police officer, police constable, or a civilian employee in the Ministry of Interior). 9- Obtain an application form from the Graduate Studies Office for a fee of EGP 50. 10- Applications are accepted from (1) October to (31) October of each year. 11- Tuition fees are  3,010 EP annually. Payment is made by Visa card. 12- A capsule file for storing documents.

The “Our Earth Climate” Foundation for Sustainable Development, affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, announced the organization of a national youth competition titled: “Youth Green Reels” Led by youth between the ages of 18 and 25, the competition aims to empower youth to express their environmental ideas and solutions to address climate change through the production of short 90-second video clips (reels). This aims to expand youth participation and raise the level of community engagement on climate issues.
