Faculty of engineering – Aswan University has topped the engineering majors at the level of Arab republic of Egypt in the international British rank whereas Aswan University has been ranked among the best 400 university worldwide.
On the occasion of announcing Aswan city the capital of African youth for 2019 by president: Abdelfattah Alsisi, Aswan university organizes the first African universities’ youth week from 19th to 25th October 2019 which will gather all the African nations. The week aims at getting the African youth to interact and exchange cultures and knowledge, deepen the concept of communication and consolidating bonds and cooperation in the African continent.
Under the patronage of Prof: Ahmed Ghalab _Aswan university president, the annual training on using Egyptian knowledge bank will be hold in the university on Sunday and Monday 20_21/10/2019 in the conference hall of faculty of engineering _Abuelreesh. Noted that the training of this year will include a presentation prepared by the digital libraries unit in the supreme council of universities, and a guidance of the procedures to apply for getting impact factor reports and plagiarism check and the included data in these report for the purpose of teaching staff promotions in the Egyptian universities. Under the patronage of Prof: Ahmed Ghalab _Aswan university president, training on electronic learning will be hold to activate the cooperation agreement between ministry of communication and information technology and Aswan governorate, and in complement to conduct the related activities disseminating the culture of electronic learning and support manufacturing it to provide the training services related to producing electronic content and administrating electronic learning system.

It has been announced that applying for the UNESCO/Japan Young Researchers’ fellowship program (UNESCO/Keizo Obuchi Research Fellowships Program) cycle 2019.the government of Japan offers 10 fellowships aiming at building the capacities of the researchers from the member countries, the scholarships focus on the research activities in post-graduate phase (after master’s) in four areas listed below: Environment (with particular attention on disaster risk reduction).
