Within the framework of the political leadership’s interest in sporting activities, and in implementation of the presidential initiative (sport is national security), the Faculty of Physical Education in Aswan organizes the International Forum for Sport Tourism, Prospects and Ambitions (Aswan Sweeter) during the period from 18-20 March 2021, under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Research Alami, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Major General / Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, and Dr. Ahmed Ghallab, President of the University and President of the Forum.
In this regard, the Sports Federation of Universities and Aswan University signed a cooperation agreement between the forum administration and the International Academy of Sports Science and Arts of the Federation. With the aim of holding training courses on the sidelines of the forum for faculty members and students of Aswan University.
The signing of the agreement was witnessed by Dr. Sahi Hassanein, Vice President of the Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Hisham Muhammad Al-Jyoushi, Secretary General of the Federation, Dr. Ahmed Schubert, member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, Adel Mohamed Abdel Moneim Makki, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education in Aswan and Secretary General of the Forum.
